Privacy Policy

legendaryexits.com

Effective date: August 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit legendaryexits.com and its subdomains, including assessment.legendaryexits.com (together, the “Site”), how that information is used, how it is shared, and the choices you have. The Site is operated by Exit Planning, LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company doing business as Legendary Exits (“Legendary Exits,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, completing our assessment, or subscribing to our communications, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

We collect the information you choose to provide when you interact with us, including when you:

  • Take our assessment (for example, The Legendary Exit Assessment). This may include your name, email address, and the answers you provide — such as your responses to the assessment questions, your revenue range, your intended timeframe, and your marketing opt-in preference.
  • Complete a form — for example, to contact us, request information, download a resource, or subscribe to an email list, course, or newsletter. This may include your name, email address, phone number, company, and any details you include in your message.
  • Book a call or meeting with us, which may include your name, email, phone number, and scheduling details.
  • Communicate with us directly by email, phone, or reply to our messages.

We use this information to deliver what you asked for (such as your assessment results), respond to you, and — where you have opted in — to send you related communications.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information when you visit the Site, including:

  • Your IP address and general location (such as city or region)
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, scroll and interaction data, and how you move through the Site
  • The website, ad, campaign, or source that referred you (including UTM parameters and click identifiers), and whether you arrived from a paid advertisement
  • Whether and how you engage with our emails (such as opens and clicks)

We collect this information using cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies (see Cookies, Advertising & Analytics below).

Information about visitors and matching across devices

To understand our audience and measure our marketing, we and our providers may use technologies that help us recognize returning visitors, associate activity with a device or browser over time, and — where you have submitted your email or interacted with our ads or emails — match that activity to you across devices and services. We may combine information collected automatically with information you have given us and with information from analytics and advertising providers.

Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from advertising and analytics platforms (such as measurement, conversion, and audience data), from partners who refer you, and from our service providers, and we may combine it with the information described above.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver your assessment results and any resources, courses, or communications you request
  • Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about our services
  • Send you email communications you have opted into — including assessment follow-ups, our email course, and our newsletter — each of which includes a way to unsubscribe
  • Personalize and improve your experience, our content, and our offers
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
  • Measure, analyze, and improve our marketing and advertising, including measuring the performance of paid campaigns and showing you relevant advertising on other sites and platforms
  • Understand how visitors engage with the Site
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, our users, and the public

We rely on your consent for marketing communications and non-essential cookies where required by law, and otherwise on our legitimate interest in operating and growing our business and on the need to perform services you request.

Cookies, Advertising & Analytics

Cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files stored on your device; pixels and tags are small pieces of code on our pages and emails. We use both first-party and third-party technologies to run the Site, remember your preferences, measure traffic and engagement, and support our advertising.

Analytics. We use analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the Site. These services use cookies and similar technologies to help us analyze traffic and engagement. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertising and retargeting. We advertise online and use advertising technologies from platforms such as Google (Google Ads), Meta (the Meta/Facebook Pixel), and LinkedIn (Insight Tag). These technologies let us measure ad performance and conversions, and show ads to people who have visited our Site or resemble our audience (“retargeting” and “lookalike/custom audiences”). To build custom audiences, we may share a hashed (obscured) version of your email address with these platforms so they can match you to your account there. This activity may be considered “sharing” or “selling” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under certain laws — see Your Choices and Rights for how to opt out.

Managing cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them, though some parts of the Site may not function as intended if you do. Where required, we present a cookie banner or preference control that lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. We also honor recognized opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), where applicable.

Email Communications

If you take our assessment, we email your results to the address you provide. If you opt in — for example, by checking a consent box or subscribing — we may also enroll you in our email course and our newsletter, “The Legendary Exit.” Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time. Transactional messages (such as your assessment results, or a reply to your inquiry) are sent because you requested them. We do not sell your personal information for money.

How Your Information Is Shared

We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate the Site and our business, and only as needed for those purposes. These may include:

  • Assessment and quiz software (such as ScoreApp), which powers our assessment and delivers your results
  • Email marketing and CRM platforms (such as ActiveCampaign and Pipedrive), which store your information and deliver the communications you opt into
  • Analytics providers (such as Google Analytics) that help us measure Site usage
  • Advertising platforms (such as Google, Meta, and LinkedIn) for measurement, conversion tracking, and audience-based advertising, as described above
  • Website hosting, form, scheduling, and infrastructure providers that host the Site and deliver notifications

We may also disclose information if required by law or legal process, to enforce our agreements, to protect the rights, safety, or property of any person, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets (in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy or notify you of any material change). We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for money.

Your Choices and Rights

  • Email. Unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in that email, or contact us.
  • Cookies and tracking. Manage cookies through your browser or our cookie control, and use the analytics and advertising opt-outs described above. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from many companies at optout.aboutads.info (Digital Advertising Alliance) and youronlinechoices.eu.
  • Do Not Sell or Share / opt out of targeted advertising. You may opt out of our use of advertising cookies and custom audiences by adjusting your cookie preferences, by using the Global Privacy Control (GPC), or by contacting us at the email below.

Depending on where you live (for example, California or other U.S. states with privacy laws), you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to know how it is used and shared, to request correction or deletion, to opt out of targeted advertising or the “sale” or “sharing” of your information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email us at micah@legendaryexits.com. We will verify your request as required by law and respond within the timeframe the law provides. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

Data Retention

We keep the information you provide (such as assessment responses, form submissions, and email records) for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain our business records, and pursue our legitimate interests, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires otherwise. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to the settings and defaults of the providers we use.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for business owners and professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Site may link to other websites and third-party profiles, including micahbrandenburg.com. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
